Busy week, Happy Sunday!

Monday, December 19th, 2005

Busy week because i had test on Wednesday, don’t think that i did very well, but by God’s grace, i hope i’d at least pass it. I was looking forward very much to this week, cos i will be meeting my old mate! heheh Just realised that i’ve actaully known KC for almot 9 years!!   erm… he’s somewhere in the pic. hehehe..  It was also a great joy to meet Sinli, cos i just knew that she is also part of our family of Hope. And the surprising Lamia as well, who studied in KML, Labuan, where i used to study, also where i first joined Hope family (Hope Labuan). And it was a very enjoyable week cos i get to meet the talented Kwang Chear, sweet MeiKiang and funny Max! hahaha
Outstation_ppl_2Yesterday was indeed a great Sunday, as we celebrate Christmas 1 week in advance. Many of my dear friends came. ;) Group_all

Bad start… Fruitful End

Wednesday, December 7th, 2005

Stayed up late last night.. trying to study RPD. fell asleep on the couch at some point, woke up to chat at some point, in the end slept on the living room couch till morning.. though at some point my feet was almost burnt by the heater!! ouch!
Morning rushed to lectures, and amazingly i DID NOT SLEEP during lecctures today! except for the 4th lecture which was on Composite, but just a few split seconds.. hehehe
Went to work.. but nothing much to do there, so just stayed for an hour. Felt sick.. headache.. went to have a haircut. felt cold.
Texted a friend and invted for dinner. but regret a bit when about to reach home, cos felt really sick. But spirit is still insisting that i meet him and grab the chance to share with him about God.
Thank God, Yanjie cooked dinner.. hehehe.. and very nice as well. had a good dinner, then spend tiem talking and sharing about soem bible scriptures. and in the end, he decided to accept Christ!! i was like.. wow… haven’t seen this in a while.. miss that feeling. the joy when see someone i care accept Christ. wonderful.. wonderful. ;)

Hopefully and preayerfull, this will charge me up to overcome the next mountain that is blocking my vision… sigh…  as Shikamaru puts it "mNaruto_shikamaru0003an tuk seh"

but God reminded me today, i have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the truth is that i will not see the kingdom of God unless i am born again. So perhaps that is what i should do next.. be changed and renewed!

Hope In the City

Monday, December 5th, 2005

HopeinthecityHope is one of the most powerful and energizing words in the English language. It is something that gives us power to keep going in the toughest of times. And its power energizes us with excitement and anticipation as we look toward the future.

"HOPE" is what Christmas is all about. ^_^

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." [Heb 11:1]

Surprisingly good day.. ;)

this morning i started lazily.. drag myself out of bed, body still aching from Tuesday squash session (i really need to exercise more!). Manage to have a short prayer and rushed to hospital, expecting to see one patient only.

Good Surprise 1:
Turns out I had TWO patients in the morning! cos they came together, so that was good.. :D felt that i’ve achieved more.
Bad Surprise 1 :
I had to buy new small little plastic amalgam carrier, cost £10!! Dentistry is expensive business.. so, you guys should appreciate your dentists and be more generous to them! hahaha
but and the good note, i’ve finally got new mirror head (the dentist’s one) and a new bur from Floor 26, save a couple of pounds there.. ;)

Good surprise 2:
Found out that a good friend of mine has finally accepted Christ last night! and he’s a happy man now. hehe..  and i’ve also found out that someone i met quite a while ago is also from our family of Hope back in Batu Pahat, which is really a wonderful news! ;)

Good Surprise 3:
Gold Fish Kitchen has once again made me a happy lunch/dinner, mmm.. delicious PhadThai with King Prawns..
Bad Surprise 2: bad news people, Gold Fish Kitchen will be closed soon…. :( the chefs are moving away.

here’s to all you food lovers like me.. ^_^
